Usuthu take aim at Tshakhuma

AmaZulu FC will travel to the Thohoyandou Stadium where they are scheduled to face Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila in a DStv Premiership match on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.

Usuthu come into this match on the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Cape Town City on November 28.

It was a match in which Lehlohonolo Majoro both scored the opening goal and the veteran centre forward was sent off.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants are placed 10th on the league standings having accumulated five points from five matches.

Coach Ayanda Dlamini’s side will be looking to improve its form on the road having suffered defeats in both of their away matches so far this season.

AmaZulu suffered narrow defeats to TS Galaxy in Mpumalanga and Mamelodi Sundowns in Pretoria.

Meanwhile, Tshakhuma played to a 1-1 draw against Chippa United away in their last outing which was played on November 29.

A second-half goal from Thabo Rakhale helped Vhadau Vha Damani claim a point from the match.

Coach Joel Masutha’s side is placed ninth on the league standings having collected six points from five matches.

Tshakhuma have claimed four points from three home matches this season, with their last turn as hosts producing a 1-0 win over provincial rivals Baroka FC.

In head-to-head stats, this will be the first top-flight league clash between AmaZulu and Tshakhuma.
