AmaZulu will look to lift themselves out of the relegation zone at the bottom of the Absa Premiership when they host Free State Stars at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday, 24 November 2012, kick-off at 18h00.
AmaZulu played to a 1-1 draw away to Mamelodi Sundowns in their last league outing and have won just one of their last six matches.
However, that one victory arrived in their last home match, when they defeated University of Pretoria 1-0 and they will feel unlucky not to have beaten Sundowns.
Usuthu are placed 15th on the Absa Premiership log with nine points from 11 matches.
Stars also played to a draw in midweek, as they were held to a goalless stalemate at home by Tuks.
The Free State side has recorded just one win from five matches on the road this season.
Ea Lla Koto are placed ninth on the Absa Premiership log with 14 points from 11 matches.
In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Stars have met in 41 league matches since 1986.
Ea Lla Koto have claimed 17 wins to 14 from Usuthu, while there have been 10 draws.
AmaZulu’s home record against Stars reads: P20 W8 D7 L5 GF28 GA20.
Last season Ea Lla Koto did a league ‘double’ over Usuthu, winning 1-0 in Durban and 2-1 in the return match in the Free State.
