Usuthu take aim at Arrows in Nedbank Cup

AmaZulu FC will be away to Lamontville Golden Arrows in the Nedbank Cup Round of 32 match at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Saturday.

Kick-off is at 17h00 CAT.

Usuthu secured an impressive 4-3 win over Bloemfontein Celtic in a DStv Premiership match at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium on Tuesday.

The win extended AmaZulu’s unbeaten run to five matches having recorded two successive draws and three consecutive victories.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants are also undefeated in their last four away matches with coach Benni McCarthy’s side having recorded one win and three successive draws on the road.

Meanwhile, Arrows claimed a morale-boosting 2-0 victory over Orlando Pirates in a DStv Premiership match at the Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium on Tuesday.

Abafana Bes’thende, who are under the guidance of coach Mandla Ncikazi, are now undefeated in their last two matches having recorded two consecutive victories.

The KwaZulu-Natal side remains undefeated at home this season having registered three draws and five victories at their home ground, Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium.

The last meeting between AmaZulu and Arrows was on December 16 at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium.

Two goals from Nduduzi Sibiya and Velemseni Ndwandwe helped Arrows emerge 2-0 winners in a league game.
