AmaZulu have just over a week to prepare for their next National First Division match following a long break without action.
Steve Barker’s outfit host Mbombela United on Saturday, 19 December at Princess Magogo Stadium in Kwa Mashu before going on a Christmas and New Year break for a week or so.
After the break, the players and technical staff will gather in the New Year to prepare for the first game of 2016, which is away to Baroka FC on Saturday, January 9.
The games will come thick and fast in January with a home clash against Vasco da Gama on January 16, Moroka Swallows away on January 23 and FC Cape Town at home on January 30.
The current break from NFD action has seen no games for two weeks to allow the South Africa U23 side every opportunity to reach the 2016 Olympic Games in Brazil.Share
