AmaZulu FC will play host to Swallows FC in the DStv Premiership match at the Jonsson Kings Park Stadium on Wednesday.

Usuthu were narrowly beaten 1-0 by Orlando Pirates away in their last league game which was played in Soweto on May 27.
It was the KwaZulu-Natal giants’ second straight 1-0 defeat, but they will secure a second spot finish in the league if they defeat Swallows and qualify for the CAF Champions League.
AmaZulu have claimed 25 points from 14 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 1-0 loss at the hands of Baroka FC in May.
Meanwhile, Swallows managed to hold newly crowned league champions Mamelodi Sundowns to a 0-0 draw at home in their last league game which took place on May 29.
It was the Birds’ seventh successive draw and a record-extending 19th stalemate for the season.
The Birds have claimed 19 points from 14 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 1-1 draw at Kaizer Chiefs in mid-May.
In head-to-head stats, AmaZulu and Swallows have met in 53 top-flight league matches since 1985.
The Birds have 20 wins compared to 14 for Usuthu, while 19 matches have been drawn.
The Durban side has won nine of their 26 home matches in the rivalry, suffering nine defeats in the process.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Dobsonville Stadium in February 2021, they played out a 0-0 draw.Share
