AmaZulu’s Namibian attacking midfielder Petrus Shitembe has vowed to work extremely hard to ensure that he gets the team back into the PSL top-flight.
“I am excited about being here and I once again look forward to the challenge and working with the new coach and new teammates. I am not taking anything for granted, I must work hard to be in the starting lineup,” said Shitembe.
Shitembe played his first game over the weekend as Usuthu lost to Royal Eagles.
“It was just unfortunate that in my first game of the season we lost. I think we have a good team of quality players and we will do well on the remaining fixtures. We are all working towards ensuring that we get the team back to the PSL again.
Shitembe said that the ultimate goal is to bring the club back into the PSL top-flight as soon as possible.
“That is what we discussed with the coach and the management that we need to bring the team back to the PSL as soon as possible.
“Goals will come and this coming match away from home is going to be challenging, but we are determined to do well,” said Shitembe.Share
