Nyadombo – We’re eager to fight

AmaZulu captain Carlington Nyadombo says his side should continue improving following Saturday night’s 3-2 cup win over Bloemfontein Celtic.

Usuthu fought back from two goals down to register their first competitive win of the season but the central defender believes there is more work to be done.

“After our win against Celtic, I think we need a break because we have to regroup and study our errors so that we come back a better side,” Nyadombo said.

“We sat down with the guys and said no matter how hard Celtic comes on us, we need to keep going and search for a win – fortunately, we won.

“We’re eager to fight and die for the team, we have the energy and I believe we need to work extra harder.

“Sometimes you need luck in football and that’s why we need to work hard and hopefully things will change for us.”

AmaZulu will now face Mamelodi Sundowns away from home in the Telkom Knockout quarterfinals following the draw which was held in Johannesburg on Monday afternoon.

you did well agaist Celtics but my concern Nyadombo are the unnecessary mistake that you guys are committing at th back, if you can rectify that you beat anyteam standing infront of you.Go to Sundown well prepared, it is a beatable team, and I see you beating them 2-0 on condition that you close that open shop a the back.
