Somila Ntsundwana and Jean-Noel Amonome have returned to AmaZulu FC from their loan spells at Royal Eagles.
The duo will be part of the Usuthu squad in the upcoming 2020/21 season after spending the recent campaign away from the KwaZulu-Natal giants.
Ntsundwana hit the ground running in the GladAfrica Championship and it was his debut season in the second tier of South African football.
The 23-year-old marksman found the back of the net four times in his first eight matches for Eagles between September and November 2019.
Ntsundwana, who is a former Bidvest Wits striker, netted four goals from 13 league starts during his time with the KwaZulu-Natal side.
The man nicknamed Balotelli made 21 appearances across all competitions including two matches against Kaizer Chiefs and Moroka Swallows in the Nedbank Cup.
Meanwhile, Amonome enjoyed game time at Eagles towards the end of the season and he caught the eye with some promising displays.
The 22-year-old goalkeeper marked his debut in the GladAfrica Championship with a clean sheet as Eagles defeated the University of Pretoria 1-0 in March 2020.
The season was then suspended due to the coronavirus pandemic and the campaign resumed in August 2020 in a bio-bubble in Gauteng.
The Libreville-born shot-stopper kept his second successive clean sheet in the 0-0 draw against Free State Stars and he started the next three matches.
Overall the Gabon international made five appearances in the league and kept three clean sheets during his time with Eagles.
Amonome will be hoping to impress AmaZulu head coach Ayanda Dlamini and make his debut in the DStv Premiership when the new 2020/21 season starts soon.Share
