AmaZulu FC have handed new contracts to veteran forwards Siyabonga Nomvethe and Mabhuti Khenyeza.
The two experienced player have signed one-year deals after their previous contracts expired at the end of June 2018.
Nomvethe (40) and Khenyeza (36) played an important role in helping Usuthu retain their status in the Premier Soccer League (PSL) last season.
Khenyeza, who has been on the books of Usuthu since 2016, hit the back of the net three times in 19 league appearances.
While Nomvethe netted twice in 20 league games last season having joined the KwaZulu-Natal giants in 2015.
AmaZulu general manager Lunga Sokhela confirmed that the two accomplished attackers will be on the books of Usuthu during the new 2018/19 campaign.
”We have finalised their contracts for another year,” Sokhela said.
Nomvethe and Khenyeza will face new competition from Argentine striker Emiliano Tade, who recently joined the Durban-based club.Share
