AmaZulu will have to soldier on without key players Mbulelo Mabizela and Khulekani Madondo when they visit Tuks on Wednesday night.
This comes after they were both suspended and will only feature in the last match of the season against Maritzburg United.
AmaZulu coach Steve Barker said he was disappointed with this outcome but he hopes it might still work for the better in the last match.
“We have played some matches without them and yes they have a strong impact on the team. On the other side maybe the rest they will get will help them come fresh when we play our last match,” said Barker.
In this must win encounter, Barker said they need to make sure that they have good players on the bench that can come in and change things if necessary.
“We must be strong and ready to fight all out. We must also make sure that we have strong players at the bench, shall things not go well but we are able to continue,” he said.
Another player that might miss out on the action is Robyn Johannes who is still going through medical checkups.
“Robyn had a bit of a knock but we will take him with us and we will know on Wednesday if he has recovered fully.
“If not I still think he will have an important role to play in our last game which could be our biggest match of the season,” he said.
