AmaZulu attacking midfielder Andile Khumalo says he is itching to return to the field after missing training due to a brief illness.
The 22-year-old was recently hospitalized due to a stomach bug, but he says he is regaining his strength and looking forward to rejoining his teammates.
“Watching from the sidelines at this crucial stage of the season can be frustrating, but the important part is I’m feeling stronger and I’m looking forward to going back to training,” he said.
“The atmosphere in the camp is good, we are all enjoying our football and this is an important period for us because we want to get better and better.”
The Madadeni-born player has grown into a key player for Usuthu, scoring two goals in 13 appearances but he says there is still room for improvement although he has noticed some progress.
