AmaZulu physiotherapist Divan Augustyn brings you up to speed on Usuthu’s injury list ahead of the all-important home fixture against Moroka Swallows on Wednesday.
Good news is that tough defender Carlington Nyadombo, who spent most of last week recovering from concussion which he suffered in the last league match against SuperSport United, might be ready for the game which will be played at the King Zwelithini Stadium.
“He had a scan done on him and there is no sort of instability on his condition, but we just want to wait and see that he can fully recover,” Augustyn said.
As for Nyadombo’s countryman Tapuwa Kapini, he had an operation two weeks ago.
“Tapuwa is in a cast for another week and the doctor will access from there on whether he’s going to be out for another six weeks or more,” said Augustyn.
Meanwhile exciting left-footed midfielder, Nyiko Tshabangu, might have to wait longer than previously envisaged to make his debut with Usuthu.
After undergoing a scan, Tshabangu found that he has to wait three more weeks for his fractured left leg to heal completely.
