Usuthu Reserves coach, Ayanda Dlamini is looking forward to mentoring a new batch of youngsters in the upcoming 2019/20 Mulitchoice Diski Challenge.
With the likes of Sandile Khumalo, Sbusiso Maluleke, Singabakho Ngema, Nthuthuko Madela and Thokozani Ngubane promoted to the senior team, Dlamini will have a new look team for the upcoming campaign.
“The Reserve League is about preparing players for the next stage of their careers,” Dlamini said.
“We have promoted a lot of young boys. For the upcoming season we will look to give the younger boys a chance to play in the MDC,” he added.
The 2019/20 campaign kicks-off at the King Zwelithini Stadium this weekend with Usuthu Reserves up against Orlando Pirates. Kickoff 15:00.
“We want to see these boys continue growing, that is the aim of the club. It is now a 30 game season, we welcome the changes,” Dlamini said.
“This league is about opportunity. It is very similar to what is happening in the ABSA Premiership. A lot of teams have benefited from the leaguem” Dlamini concluded.Share
