AmaZulu have claimed 25 points from 13 away matches this season, with their last result on the road a 1-0 win at Golden Arrows earlier this month.
Meanwhile, Pirates were held to a 0-0 draw by Stellenbosch FC away in their previous league game which took place on May 11.
It was the Soweto giants’ 10th draw of the season in the league and they have won just once in their last four outings.
The Buccaneers have claimed 26 points from 13 home matches this season, with their last result as hosts a 3-0 win over Black Leopards earlier this month.
In head-to-head stats, Pirates and AmaZulu have met in 60 league matches since 1985.
The Buccaneers have claimed 26 wins compared to 10 for Usuthu, while 24 matches have been drawn.
The Soweto giants have claimed 17 wins from 29 home league matches against the Durban side, suffering four defeats in the process.
When the teams met earlier this season, at Kings Park Stadium in October 2020, they played out a 1-1 draw after goals from Lehlohonolo Majoro and Frank Mhango.
