Former Bafana Bafana player and now AmaZulu manager Japhet Zwane says it difficult to tell how the preparations for the next season are going when players have not renewed their contract.
The majority of the players’ contracts are coming to an end when June concludes and others have three years contract with the club.
“It is difficult to answer and say that we are well on track at the moment, because we don’t know who are some of the players that will be leaving the club,” said Zwane.
“We did have a meeting with the players and gave out offers and it is up to them to decide now.”
Zwane also said that there are teams that will come out and scout for players when the season is about to resume, so they have all that in mind.
“We are aware that there are clubs who have not finalized their squads and will be looking at taking some of our players,” added Zwane.
“Those that have contracts with us will have to honor those contracts and if they wish to leave they will do it via us.”
Speaking about the rumor that Khulekani Madondo might be leaving he said he is not aware of that.
“The only thing I know is that his contract is coming to an end soon,” said Zwane.Share
