AmaZulu forward Ayanda ‘Cobra’ Dlamini says that he is fully aware of the challenge when facing Kaizer Chiefs but believes his team are good enough.
Usuthu host Chiefs in an Absa Premiership match at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Wednesday night. Kick-off is at 7:30pm.
The Durban-based club have had a very difficult start to the new season and currently occupy bottom spot on the log with four points from nine games.
“Playing Chiefs is always difficult whether at home or away from home because they have good support everywhere in the country,” said Dlamini.
“But we have worked hard to make sure that we compete and give Chiefs a tough game. We know that we are good enough. And we know that we need a result to turn our fortunes around.
“There has been a positive atmosphere at training and I am pleased with that. We know how well organised Chiefs are and how strong they are with set pieces. I can say we have prepared well to counter this and we are ready.
“Now we hope that we can please our supporters and play well, trying our best to get something from the game.”
