Three AmaZulu players will come up against their former team when Usuthu visit Bloemfontein Celtic at the Kaizer Sebothelo Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Striker Bongani Ndulula made his Absa Premiership debut with Phunya Sele Sele during the 2009/10 season, before joining Orlando Pirates and then AmaZulu.
‘Drogba’ has already punished his former employers this season when he came off the bench to score a late equaliser during the 1-1 draw at the Moses Mabhida Stadium in November last year, and will be looking to add to his tally of five league goals.
Sunday’s encounter will also see January signings Ruzaigh Gamildien and John Arwuah returning to Bloemfontein for the first time in the colours of Usuthu.
Gamildien has shaken off an ankle injury to make three appearances for Craig Rosslee’s side, two in the league and one in the Nedbank Cup, and will be hoping for another start against his former club.
Arwuah has slotted comfortably into the AmaZulu midfield and has already racked up seven starts and nine appearances in total in the Absa Premiership since making the switch.
The Ghana international and midfielder Kulegani Madondo have also worked under Ernst Middendorp at Maritzburg United and could be key weapons for Usuthu on Sunday.
