AmaZulu defenders Willem Mwedihanga and Larry Horaeb, as well as forward Pineas Jacob, have been included in Namibia’s squad for the upcoming international friendly against Mozambique.
The game is set to take place in Windhoek on Tuesday, November 19 and Namibia coach Ricardo Mannetti sees the encounter as an opportunity to assess a wider pool of players.
The Brave Warriors have not been in action since playing their last 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier against Kenya in September.
This encounter is also viewed as a grudge match after Mozambique eliminated Namibia during the qualifiers of the 2014 African Nations Championship (CHAN), which is set to take place in South Africa early next year.
Mwedihanga has made six appearances for Usuthu in the Absa Premiership this season, starting four games and coming on as a substitute on two occasions.
Horaeb on the other hand has started five league matches, while Jacob is still waiting to make his official debut.Share
