The Premier Soccer League (PSL) has officially charged AmaZulu FC midfielder Micheal Morton.
The midfield maestro and Bidvest Wits forward Frank Gabadinho Mhango have been charged by the PSL over an incident which occured during an Absa Premiership clash between Usuthu and the Students last month.
A PSL statement read: “Mr Mhango has been charged with misconduct for allegedly offending the dignity of Amazulu FC player, Michael Morton, following an alleged spitting incident on 20 September 2017 at the King Zwelithini Stadium.”
“Mr Morton has also been charged with misconduct for allegedly offending the dignity of Bidvest Wits FC player, Gabadinho Mhango, following a further alleged spitting incident on 20 September 2017 at the Princess Magogo Stadium,” another PSL statement read.
The two players will appear before the PSL Disciplinary Committee next week on 18 October 2017.
