AmaZulu can confirm the acquisition of Bongi Ntuli from Mamelodi Sundowns on a permanent deal. The striker joined Usuthu on loan at the start of the season but has now penned a three-year deal at the club.
Ntuli has been Usuthu’s main weapon upfront, scoring seven times in all competitions.
Fellow striker, Emiliano Tade has gone the other way with the Argentine agreeing a three-year contract with the Brazilians.
The Argentine joined AmaZulu from Auckland City in New Zealand in July last year. He scored seven goals in all competitions for Cavin Johnson’s side.
“It was always our intention to keep hold of Emiliano but we did not want to stand in the way of the player,” AmaZulu General Manager, Lunga Sokhela said.
“Emiliano did well for the club since joining and we wish him all the best at Sundowns,” Sokhela added.
Sokhela believes the permanent capture of Ntuli will help the technical team as they aim to finish the season as high up on the table as possible and begin planning for the upcoming campaign.
“We are delighted to land Bongi’s signature on a permanent basis. His work ethic speaks for itself, he understands the culture of the club and is well loved by the Usuthu fans,” Sokhela said.
“This will also help us with our forward planning, we are an ambitious club who want to keep improving,” Sokhela added.Share
