The festive filled outing was organized by the AIDS Healthcare Foundation which is a non-profit organization that provides medicine and advocacy to over 1 million people in 41 countries.
AmaZulu 29 year old Zimbabwean attacking midfielder, Ovidy Karuru emphasized the importance of making the children feel as happy and as comfortable as possible regardless of their status.
‘’We have to ensure that they also feel like ordinary human beings because they and we have to help build their self-steem.’’
Karuru also had some words of encouragement for the children.
‘’I just want to say to the children that, they should all stay focused and reach for their dreams no matter what difficult circumstances they may find themselves in.’’
‘’Anything is possible through working hard and praying, the sky is the limit,’’ said Karuru.Share
