AmaZulu FC will welcome Mthatha Bucks in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 match at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Wednesday.
Kick-off is at 19h30.
Usuthu, who are coming off a 2-1 win over Lamontville Golden Arrows, are currently enjoying a five-match unbeaten run in the Absa Premiership having recorded three victories and two draws.
The KwaZulu-Natal giants will take on a struggling Bucks side which has tasted one victory in their last five National First Division (NFD) matches.
Amathol’amnyama booked their place in the Nedbank Cup Last 32 after beating Uthongathi 2-1 in extra-time in a qualification match last December.
Bucks are under the guidance of Duncan Lechesa. His side is coming off a 1-0 away defeat to Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila F.C in a league game.
Mpho Erasmus is Amathol’amnyama’s dangerman having scored 10 goals in the NFD this season. The striker will look to inspire Bucks to victory against Usuthu.
AmaZulu will be hoping to go all the way and reach the Nedbank Cup final for the first time since 2010. They lost to Bidvest Wits in the final at the FNB Stadium.
Cavin Johnson, the Usuthu head coach, will look to in-form attacking midfielder Siyethemba Mnguni, who scored twice against Arrows in the KwaZulu-Natal Derby on Saturday.
The last time AmaZulu faced Bucks was on the 15th of February 2017 during the 2016/17 NFD campaign.
