AmaZulu will aim to return to winning ways in the Absa Premiership when they visit Polokwane City at the Peter Mokaba Stadium onWednesday, 06 November 2013, kick-off at 19h30.
Usuthu go into this clash on the back of successive defeats in the league as they went down to Mamelodi Sundowns before losing 2-0 to Maritzburg United in the KwaZulu-Natal derby.
Craig Rosslee’s side are currently in eighth place on the log standings with 11 points from eight matches and will look to begin the second quarter of the campaign on a positive note.
The trip to Limpopo will be followed by tough encounters against Bloemfontein Celtic (home), Free State Stars (away) and Platinum Stars (home).
Polokwane City on the other hand recently registered their second win of the season, beating Mamelodi Sundowns 1-0 and will look to follow it up with a good result at home.
Boebie Solomons’ side are placed 13th on the Absa Premiership table with seven points from eight matches.
Their next three league opponents are Free State Stars (away), University of Pretoria (home) and Kaizer Chiefs (away).
This will be the first ever meeting between the two sides but City have recently proven to be tough opponents in their backyard with two wins after starting the campaign with two home losses.
However, Usuthu have already claimed seven points away from home this season and will be in search of their third win on the road having already beaten Orlando Pirates and Ajax Cape Town.Share
