Usuthu eye win against Highlands

AmaZulu FC will travel to the Makhulong Stadium where they are scheduled to face Highlands Park in an Absa Premiership match on Tuesday.

Kick-off at 19h30.

Usuthu saw their winless run in the league extended to seven matches when they were held 0-0 at home by Polokwane City on November 11.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants’ last victory in the league was in mid-August.

Usuthu have suffered four defeats from as many away matches this season, with their last outing on the road ending in a 3-0 loss at Cape Town City.

Cavin Johnson, the AmaZulu head coach, will look to Argentine striker Emiliano Tade, who has the ability to inspire the team to victory against Highlands.

Meanwhile, Highlands played to a sixth draw from 10 league matches when they held Maritzburg United 2-2 away on November 9.

The Tembisa-based side twice came from behind to secure a valuable point.

The Lions of the North are unbeaten at home this season, with two wins and two draws from four matches as hosts.

Their last home game brought a 2-1 win over Chippa United in early October.

Highlands head coach Owen Da Gama, will look to Mothobi Mvala, who is an influential midfielder for the Gauteng side.

This will be the first top-flight league meeting of Highlands Park and AmaZulu.
