Usuthu eye home against Polokwane

AmaZulu FC will take on Polokwane City in an Absa Premiership match at the Kings Park Stadium on Sunday.

Kick-off is at 15h30 CAT.

Usuthu were narrowly beaten a 1-0 by Orlando Pirates away in a match which was played on January 25.

The KwaZulu-Natal giants have claimed eight points from nine games as hosts in this league campaign.

Meanwhile, Polokwane recorded a 1-0 defeat against Stellenbosch FC away in a game which took place on January 25.

Rise and Shine have taken just seven points from 10 away matches so far in the 2019/20 season.

In head-to-head stats, Polokwane and AmaZulu have met in nine league matches since 2013/14.

Rise and Shine have claimed three wins compared to two for Usuthu, while four games have been drawn.

The Durban side has recorded two wins, one draw and one defeat from four home matches in the rivalry.

When the teams met earlier this season, at the Old Peter Mokaba Stadium in August 2019, Polokwane claimed a 1-0 win.
