AmaZulu’s satellite academy, Ohlange High School observed AmaZulu’s first team training in preparation of the Kay Motsepe Schools Cup Finals, which will be held from 1-5 October at the Tshwane University of Technology in Pretoria.
Coach Cavin Johnson offered some word of advice to the young players.
‘’You have to fight, keep your head up and possibly you can get a bigger opportunity to play for the first team,’’ he said.
The team recently defeated Sbani Esihle High School at the Siripat Sports Grounds 2-1 to be crowned KZN provincial champions. Both teams will represent KZN at the national finals.
The Usuthu first team squad congratulated the AmaZulu Ohlange High School Academy players on their progress. Last week they won the KZN leg of the competition which saw them receive R100 000 prize money and a trophy.Share
