AmaZulu FC have exercised a 2-year option on Tshepo Gumede’s contract following the 28-year-old defender’s six-month tenure with Usuthu which he signed when he joined in February this year.
The man from Dobsonville is pleased with extending his stay at Usuthu and speaks highly of the pre-season preparations and progress at the club.
‘’I am extremely happy and grateful to have signed to stay on for longer here at Usuthu, I have had a wonderful time so far.’’
‘’I would say doing pre-season with the team gives me a base and more of an understanding with my teammates to learn each other’s strengths,’’ he said.
The experienced centre is already pondering on expectations for the 2019/2020 Absa Premiership season.
‘’Going forward I would say we need to improve on our away games and treat them with the same mentality we do for our home games.’’
‘’My wishes are that we play the brand of football we know AmaZulu can play with positive results,’’ he concluded.Share
