Tough away match for Usuthu

SuperSport United will present a tough away match for AmaZulu in the Absa Premiership this weekend as both sides go in search of their first League victory of the new season.

The game will be hosted at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday, 15 September 2012, kick-off at 15h00.

SuperSport are unbeaten so far in their league campaign, but they have drawn all three matches.

In their most recent outing, the Pretoria team drew 0-0 away to local rivals University of Pretoria.

Matsatsantsa are placed 10th on the league standings after the first three rounds of matches.

AmaZulu are also yet to record a win this season, having recorded two losses and a draw.

The Durban side drew 0-0 with local rivals Golden Arrows in their last outing.

Usuthu are placed last on the league standings after the first three rounds of matches.

In head-to-head stats, SuperSport and AmaZulu have met in 34 league matches since 1990.

United have 17 wins compared to 10 for Usuthu, and there has been seven draws.

SuperSport have a good home record against AmaZulu, with 11 wins, four draws and just one loss from 16 matches.

Last season the away team triumphed in the two league matches between the sides: 2-1 for Matsatsantsa in Durban and 1-0 for Usuthu in Polokwane.
