AmaZulu midfield general, Kagiso Senamela, has been honoured with the AmaZulu Player of the Month Award for August for his consistent display this past month.
‘Kalawa-Jazzme’ was the technical team’s first choice for the R2000 prize money and a two night’s stay at Suncoast. This, despite the team suffering a slow start to the season.
“He started the pre-season on a very high note together with a few other players, but he remained better throughout all the friendly games,” said coach Roger Palmgren.
“He didn’t do too well in the first two games but I feel he still remained one of the best players during those games.
“We saw in the last game that he definitely had a good game against Golden Arrows because he also won Man of the Match. To me he definitely deserved it.”
The Swedish tactician is hopeful that with the help of the latest acquisitions, Usuthu can come away with a positive result against SuperSport United at the Peter Mokaba Stadium this weekend.Share
