The Usuthu duo have urged the Usuthu faithful to ready themselves for war in Polokwane this Sunday where AmaZulu will do battle with Supersport United for a berth in the Nedbank Cup 2012 Final.
Midfielder, Thamsanqa Sangweni and central defender, Bukasa Kasonga who have been the spine of the KZN team this season made it clear to AmaZulufc.net ahead of the math to be played at Peter Mokaba Stadium that their main source of inspiration is not within their own playing abilities.
“People believe in us – when they see us they encourage us, and tell us that we can even win the cup. They are all behind us all the way not just in the semi-final,” said Sangweni.
The tournament organisers have roped in all kinds of goodies (T-shirts, Flags, team Makarapas) for the first 5000 arrivals at the stadium on Sunday, however experienced DRC international, Bukasa Kasonga says this is not the only reason Usuthu fans should be early birds.
“Our supporters must just come out and get behind the guys like they have been doing before. The players will be motivated to play their heart out knowing that if we pass this stage we’re closer towards a chance of winning the cup,” said ‘Belux’.
Kasonga’s own faith own his teammates would be tested as his cup final hopes rest on their shoulders due to a red card ban from a league match.
