There’s more to the 25 year old Usuthu winger than what meets the eye. It’s not the speed at which flashes past some of his opponents at when he’s on the mood.

The former Moroka Swallows man believes that education is important whether you are a soccer player or not, which was the reason he elected to acquire a Logistics Degree from the University of Johannesburg.

“Football is a short career and you need to have some sort of backup so that you can have something to fall back on,” he said.

Ramphele, who hails from Tembisa was encouraged by his father to pursue a career in football.

“My dad was the reason why I started playing football,” said the winger who joined AmaZulu in August 2016 from Baroka FC.

Ramphele offered AmaZulu FC.net some insight into the kind of person he is off the field.
