AmaZulu striker Bornwell Mwape believes that his performances in friendly games during the FIFA International break gave him a chance to sharpen his skills as the league resumes this weekend.
Mwape scored against Milford United at the Uthungulu Mayoral Cup and said this is “a great feeling” for him as a striker.
“It feels good to score and I am hoping that I will take this form with me when the league (NFD) resumes,” said the Zambian.
As the club gets ready to face Royal Eagles in a KZN derby on Saturday, Mwape said he feels they are in good shape to continue doing well this season.
“It is important that we do not lose any match at this stage.
“Eagles are under pressure as well, but we must stick to our game plan and continue working hard,” he said.Share
