Murambadoro – We must keep the momentum

After keeping a clean sheet in Sunday’s win against Cape Town All Stars, Usuthu goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro believes they need to keep the momentum going against Highlands Park on Saturday.

The experienced Zimbabwean goalkeeper said they need to take each NFD game seriously and aim for maximum points.

“It’s important that we keep the momentum going and continue from our previous match. We are looking forward to a good game at home and we will be going for the full points. Winning some matches and losing others will not help us at all,” said Murambadoro.

“We need to keep winning. I’m happy about my contribution in the team and my performance over the weekend. But that is not that important; what is crucial is that we continue working hard and getting the results that we desire.

“Every game is important for us and dwelling on the past won’t help. The season has been tough, but we are slowly finding our feet. Getting a back to back victory has been a concern but this is the time to turn things around,” he said.

AmaZulu are at home to Highlands Park on Saturday afternoon.
