Mokoro released, Khumalo under watch

Tsweu Mokoro will be released on Wednesday as doctors at the Escourt Provincial Hospital want to do more check-ups on him.

The young Andile Khumalo is reported to be in a better condition than on Monday but might be transferred to the Ladysmith Provincial Hospital to undergo a full body scanning.

AmaZulu captain, Pere Ariweriyai conveyed the rest of his teammates’ delight at hearing how the duo is progressing.

“It was very scary when we got the news about what had happened to them. Now we’re just glad they are not in a bad condition and we’re more relaxed now that they will be joining us soon,” said Ariweriyai.

The Newcastle born Khumalo gave a sterling performance against Bloemfontein Celtics ‘Usuthu’ when he came on just before half time for Sphiwe Mkhonza.
