AmaZulu have completed the signing of Durban-born goalkeeper Siya Mngoma on a long term deal.
The 25-year-old joins Usuthu on a three-year contract with an option to extend as the club’s seeks to strengthen the goalkeeping department following the departure of Philani Zikalala.
“We are delighted to welcome Siya to the club; he’s got the experience under his belt but still has a bright future ahead of him,” the club’s General Manager, Peter O’Connor said.
“With him joining the club we are pleased that we have enough quality in that department but we are still looking to strengthen other areas.
“We are still looking for a left or right winger; we are targeting some players but nothing has been finalized yet.”
Mngoma was a key member of the University of Pretoria side which clinched promotion to the Absa Premiership during the 2011/12 season and also had stints with Lamontville Golden Arrows and Thanda Royal Zulu before joining Usuthu.Share
