AmaZulu General Manager Peter O’Connor has expressed delight in Usuthu’s latest appointment of Marc Grune to fill the role of head of development at the KZN based club.
The 43 year old coach will work with all youth coaches as well as fill in as a link between youth structures and the first team when required, just like his predecessor Ronnie Moroka did while he was in the role.
“The club is delighted to have Marc on board as he has a wealth of development experience from various clubs including overseas.
“We hope that his involvement will see our development set up having a close relationship with the first team, which will enable them to reach greater heights in producing future players,” said O’Connor.
Grune has worked at Ajax Cape Town’s development, in the German Bundesliga, the United States as well as at Mpumalanga Black Aces as the club’s CEO.Share
