AmaZulu FC head coach Cavin Johnson is confident that the team will solve their goal scoring woes.
Usuthu have failed to score in their last two Absa Premiership matches – conceding three goals in the process.
The team has been playing well and creating chances, but they have misfired in front of goal in recent times.
“It worries any team if you don’t score. So, you have to work on it as much as you can,” Johnson said.
AmaZulu were beaten 2-0 by Chippa United in their most recent league game which was played at the King Zwelithini Stadium last weekend.
Johnson’s charges will now take on Baroka FC in their next league game at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on Sunday.
“We will try to get the players in a different mentality to score and hopefully, it works in the next game,” the former SuperSport United mentor continued.
“So, yes, we have to go out there again and work extra hard to make sure that they come out feeling a lot more confident mentally.
“Because it can be be a reverse psychology whereby they feel that they are not good enough,” he concluded.
Kick-off between Baroka and AmaZulu is at 15h30.Share
