Johnson: Usuthu to fight hard to upset Sundowns

AmaZulu FC head coach Cavin Johnson says his charges will be brimming with confidence when they face Mamelodi Sundowns on Saturday.

The Brazilians are set to host Usuthu in an Absa Premiership match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium in the nation’s capital, Pretoria.

“Sundowns is a big team without a doubt,” Johnson told AmaZulufc.net.

“We have to fight very hard on Saturday and we are ready for this one.

AmaZulu were narrowly defeated 3-2 by Polokwane City in a league match which was played at the King Zwelithini Stadium in Durban on Wednesday.

“We lost the game against Polokwane, but we played well we pressed them,” the 58-year-old continued.

“We kept the shape despite the fact that we committed silly erros tactical errors.

“We hope to fix those mistakes and ensure we are up to the task to beat Sundowns away,” he added.

“I am sure the guys will be motivated playing against a big team.”

Kick-off between Sundowns and AmaZulu is at 20h15.
