Heritage Day clash against Chiefs looms

AmaZulu have settled well under new coach, Jozef Vukusic and are ready to welcome Kaizer Chiefs to the King Zwelithini Stadium on Tuesday afternoon.

The Serbian mentor replaced Cavin Johnson at the helm and has had a week to prepare the team for the visit of the Amakhosi.

Defender, Mbongeni Gumede says the players have taken well to Vukusic and enjoy his sessions and tactical approach.

“I think we have settled well. I think he is a good coach and we will work well under him,” Gumede said.

“we are team that enjoys playing the ball and coach Vukusic emphasizes that. It is nothing new to us and we are looking forward to our first game under him.”

Chiefs have enjoyed a good start to the season and have only lost once in five outings.

“I think it’s going to be a tough game. We will be well prepared though, it is an exciting challenge for us,” Gumede said.

“Playing at home is a huge boost for us. We know the supporters will come in numbers, now its time for us to deliver the results,” he concluded.

Usuthu take on Kaizer Chiefs at the King Zwelithini Stadium this Wednesday, kick-off is at 3pm.

Tickets are available at TicketPro and Spar Outlets.
