AmaZulu have finalized the signing of midfielder Ruzaigh Gamildien who joins the KZN side on a two and half year deal from Bloemfontein Celtic.
“It’s an honour to be part of the club with a huge history like AmaZulu.
“I’ve been welcomed with warm hands by everybody, the technical staff and everybody else and I get that feeling that I’m part of the family already,” said Gamildien.
The Cape Town born player will only be eligible to don the Usuthu green and white colours in an official Absa Premiership match in the second round after his registration is finalized from January 1.
“We’ve finalized the deal with Celtic and the personal terms with Ruzaigh and he started training from today (Thursday),” said AmaZulu General Manager Peter O’Connor.
Gamildien who started his career at Cape Town based NFD side Milano United has three Bafana Bafana caps to his name.
