Promising youngsters Gavin Hammers, Bonginkosi Nxumalo, Muziwandile Khwela, Allistair Wallis and Ntuthuko Dlamini have been official placed on loan for the upcoming transfer window.
The club has written a letter to the PSL affirming the availability of the five players should any club seek their services on a loan basis in the second round.
Right-back Allistair Wallis could soon join teammate Nhlanhla Khuzwayo who is also on loan at NFD side Thanda Royal Zulu.
All five players still have contracts that will run until at least June, 2013.
Coach Roger Palmgren says the midfielders and defender are ones for the future but admits they need more game time to be of better use in his team.
“They are quality players, there’s no doubt about that. We just have not been able to field them all because of the situation that we need more of experience at the moment,” the coach told AmaZulufc.net.
The club is currently in negotiations over getting a striker to alleviate the goal scoring problem which the Swedish coach says must be improved in the second round.Share
