Key AmaZulu squad members, goalkeeper Energy Murambadoro and attacking midfielder Goodman Dlamini, have signed a further four and three year deals with the KZN outfit respectively.
This boardroom business has injected a morale boost into Head Coach Steve Barker’s plans as the club fights for promotion to the PSL top-flight, as both players look to inspire success at Usuthu.
“I told myself that this a club I want to really play for when I came here, so it wasn’t too hard to recommit,” said Murambadoro.
“I believe with guidance and with the experienced players we have, we can all help the younger players reach their potential and together put AmaZulu back to where we belong.”
The Zimbabwean keeper joined Usuthu last season in the January transfer window, while ‘Deco’ (Goodman Dlamini) made his PSL debut in the 2010/11 season after joining Usuthu from then ABC Motsepe side African Wanderers.
AmaZulu have also parted ways with striker Darren Smith on amicable grounds.Share
