AmaZulu have bolstered their squad with the addition of winger, Talent Chawapiwa.
The Zimbabwean has joined Usuthu from Baroka FC on a three-year, permanent deal.
The 26-year-old made 21 appearances for Bakgaga this season and was a central figure as the club lifted the Telkom Knockout Cup in December.
“Talent is a seasoned professional who will add pace and depth to Coach Cavin Johnson’s squad,” AmaZulu General Manager, Lunga Sokhela said.
“We are happy to have him in Durban and we are confident that he will adapt to our approach and style of play quickly.”
With the departure of striker, Emiliano Tade to Mamelodi Sundowns, it was imperative that AmaZulu boosted their attacking options.
His acquisition adds to the permanent signing of Bongi Ntuli who is currently on loan from Masandawana.
“It has been a challenging season for the club but we believe that we are on the right track. We have had some encouraging performances in recent months and now it is just about finishing the campaign off well,” Sokhela added.Share
