Usuthu’s defensive midfielder Butholezwe Ncube (25) has been rewarded for his hard work for AmaZulu FC this season with a place in the Zimbabwean National Team alongside Usuthu teammate, Ovidy Karuru (29).
The Warriors play Zambia in the four nations semi-final in Ndola on 22 March, which may be followed by a bout with either South Africa or Angola dependent on their results.
The former Tsholotsho midfielder said of his call up: “It’s an honour for me to be called up to the national team represent Zimbabwe. It has always been a wish for me to play for my country. I want to add my part as well in achieving something for my country,” said Ncube.Share
