New AmaZulu FC centre forward Bonginkosi Ntuli has promised to scores for Usuthu during the 2018/19 campaign.
The 27-year-old player rejoined Usuthu on a season-long loan deal with an option to purchase from Mamelodi Sundowns on Friday.
This is Ntuli’s second loan spell with the club having spent the second round of the 2014/15 season with the KwaZulu-Natal giants.
“I am very pleased to be back here at AmaZulu because it is my home team,” Ntuli, who was born in the KwaZulu-Natal Province, said.
Ntuli worked with current Usuthu head coach Cavin Johnson at Platinum Stars while on loan from Sundowns.
“I also glad to have reunited with Cavin Johnson. That makes me very happy,” he added.
“He likes working with the strikers. I used to do some extra training with him. Doing some finishing drills with him helped me a lot.
Ntuli hit the back of the net six times in 12 Absa Premiership matches for Usuthu between February and May 2015.
“I am going to score goals here at AmaZulu because it is an attacking team,” the former Lamontville Golden Arrows forward added.
The lethal frontman believes he will benefit from playing with Usuthu’s veteran attackers Mabhuti Khenyeza and Siyabonga Nomvethe.
“I am looking forward to working with Khenyeza and Nomvethe. They have been playing for a very long time and they also have a lot of experience,” he said.
“So, I am going to learn a lot from them.”
AmaZulu will take on Kaizer Chiefs in an Absa Premiership match at the FNB Stadium on Saturday, September 22.
Kick-off is at 18h00 CAT.Share
