AmaZulu will host Black Leopards with a positive approach when they meet them in the National First Division on Saturday at the Princess Magogo Stadium.
Coach Steve Barker said winning this match will be vitally important to the players’ mindset as they have not been collecting maximum points of late.
“This match is important for us as we are playing at home but having said so every game is important if we want to do well in this league. There is no better team than the other and so we will go there prepared to fight,” he said.
Barker also expressed that he missed his captain Robyn Johannes in the recent 2-1 loss to FC Cape Town, and hopes that he will be available on Saturday but at the same time it will be wise not to rush his injury.
“There is still concern about Robyn Johannes who has been leading well this season and not having him was a disappointment. However I feel it is important not to rush him especially since we have more games coming up in short space of time.
“Taking one game at a time and changing our mindset is what will help us. We need to focus on what we have control over and continue working hard,” he said.Share
