Ayanda Dlamini discusses Highlands Park win

AmaZulu Reserves coach Ayanda Dlamini has applauded his side’s gutsy display at the King Zwelethini stadium on Sunday afternoon which has propelled Usuthu to top of the Multichoice Diski Challenge log after beating Highlands Park 2-1.

“I think the boys fought very well , they fought very hard for the result,” Dlamini said.

Bayanda Shangase scored twice for the Usuthu side , whilst Kgotso Maloka pulled a goal back for the away side in the 69th minute.

Dlamini and his troops have set their sights on dishing up a consistent brand of football throughout the entire season whether playing at home or away.

” Our main priority is to perform better than we did last season, we are aiming to be consistent,” he concluded.

AmaZulu FC Reserves’ next encounter is against Cape Town City at Sugar Ray Xulu Stadium in Clermont in the Diski challenge festival will be held on 13-14 October. Usuthu meet City on Saturday at 10am.
