AmaZulu and EKZNW call for support for the 2010 World Cup February 26, 2010 Last week ‘The Dogg’ took to the stage just before watching some entertaining football at the Midmar Dam, just outside of Pietermaritzburg, at the launch of 2010 Soccer Fridays.

Clive Barker was speaking in front of the Ezemvelo KZN Wildlife staff members after haven presented Adidas sponsored boots to participants who had attended his Coaching Course back in November.

Accompanied by AmaZulu GM, Peter O’Connor and Development Head, Thami Ngubane, the AmaZulu contingent was there to ensure that EKZN staff rise to the occasion in supporting Bafana Bafana during the 2010 World Cup.

The two partners’ wish is to see the general public recognizing the opportunities through which sports can uplift communities.

Former Bafana Bafana mentor Barker of course didn’t miss the chance to pass down some of his coaching knowledge to some of the ‘future’ coaches who attended the clinics!
