Noble pushing for full throttle

He burst onto the season at a young age with Bidvest Wits and went on to win two league championships with Mamelodi Sundowns and with only 26 year-old; Regan Noble believes he still has a lot to offer Usuthu.

Injuries have stolen most of his game time as he had to sit out three months due to an injury he suffered at training

“This season has been the worst season of my career I don’t know why because I started well. I almost didn’t recover in time that’s why I think it has not been the best for me, I definitely didn’t enjoy it.

Reagan however believes the remaining fixtures can be enough to recapture the lost spark in his career, having already been introduced twice in the late stages in the last matches in December.

“I’m already there - it is just a matter of playing more and building on my confidence. Obviously there is a lot to consider now. I have to play my normal football and listen to the coaches’ instructions,” said Noble.

The midfielder knows exactly what is in store for him, being entrusted with the responsibility of leading the heart of the Usuthu in midfield.

“At the moment we must play to get out of the bottom and I’m sure slowly if not quickly we will climb up because we want to finish higher. But for now us realistically we have to do something and start winning consistently,” he said.

A rest now will go a long way to getting them ready for another tough half in the second round as AmaZulu begin to shape decide their destiny. The two times league medallist still has a dream of winning another league title for AmaZulu. To one day fulfil such dreams 2010 needs to be the year they turn the corner.
