Coach Neil Tovey says the intensity of the league makes it difficult for all teams to compete for points against each other.

When AmaZulu go head to head against Kaizer Chiefs this time there won’t be any rain, but there will be plenty of other issues to focus on against a Chiefs side desperate to get back to winning ways come kickoff at Loftus on 19:30 tomorrow.
“We’re not looking any further than our own game. We do know that there will only be only 6 matches left after this one we have with Chiefs.
“It will be a positive mental approach that will be vital for the team that wants to win. None of the teams want to lose now and Chiefs are fighting to increase their chances with the league title, we’re all fighting for something.
“With only 3 home games and 3 away games left in the New Year we know if we win tomorrow we can achieve something,” said Tovey.
Tsweu Mokoro says ahead of the game: “When we played them in the rain we were denied a penalty for some reason by the referee. I think we won’t have that much of a problem playing them in front of their home supporters - they should be the ones worried about us.
“We want to go into the Christmas break knowing that we are closer to the top 8 because we know that teams above are only in front by 2 points.
The midfielder knows though the winner will only be decided by the number of chances they convert.
“Personally I know if I deliver the right balls to the strikers and if we as a team work together we shouldn’t go wrong. We missed vital chances on Sunday against Jomo Cosmos and we owe it on ourselves and supporters to play our hearts out,” continued Mokoro.
Bukasa Kasonga was replaced by Nhlanhla ’Shakes’ Zwane after suffering a hamstring injury in the early stages in the last game. Kasonga, Myron Shongwe as well Ntokozo Sikhakhane are the only absentees.
Contrary to earlier reports Zwane and Warren Bishop will be available for selection after being cleared of suspension
